Serbian media in Serbian hands!Aleksandar Rodić, the president of AMG has confirmed that his company has bought all rights and claims from German ā€˜Funke Medien Gruppeā€™. This includes the following establishments: Daily newspaper ā€˜Politikaā€™ and its magazines, ā€˜Politikaā€™ printing office, ā€˜Politikaā€™ PLC, daily newspaper ā€˜Dnevnikā€™, and NPA ā€˜Novostiā€™ from Belgrade..

ā€œAdria Media Group in the following period will proceed in takeover of all rights and claims, whilst respecting all applicable laws of Republic of Serbia. This means that, in case AMG exercise the right of ownership for any of the above mentioned firms, will first seek the approval from Competition Commissionā€.

Adria Media Group, under its auspices, publishes daily newspaper Kurir, more then 50Ā print editions of magazines and weeklies, 24 digital publications and has 720 employees in the region. The company operates in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia.
